When King set out to redesign its 7,000 m² headquarters on Malmskillnadsgatan in Stockholm, they chose Beleco as their new partner for design and furnishing solutions. The office, named Sweden’s most beautiful workplace in 2021, is now an inspiring meeting space where colors, furniture, and functionality come together to create an environment that fosters both creativity and collaboration.

Photo: © Johnny WohlinAs you enter King’s office, you’re greeted by the iconic logo, vibrant décor, and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee waiting to accompany you inside.
Beleco’s interior designers were asked to create lounges, redesign meeting rooms, and add phone booths in different sizes. These areas were designed to strengthen King’s playful brand and support their need for a modern and flexible workspace. King chose Subscribe, Beleco’s flexible furnishing solution, and selected a mix of furniture, art, rugs, lighting, and phone booths from well-known brands such as Kasthall, Bolon, Lacerto, LD Seating, Bebo Objects, &Tradition, Stolab, and Silen.

We transformed former passageways into lounges and seating areas, and gave the meeting rooms a more creative feel with chairs in different colors. The phone booths have become an important part of the office as they allow for quiet video calls and make the workspace better suited for continued collaboration in a hybrid environment.”

King wanted more creative and colorful meeting areas. Here you can see comfortable designer armchairs with smart laptop tables and portable red lamps, along with rugs from the well-known brand Kasthall. Rugs are an easy way to create smaller zones within a space, even when wall-to-wall carpet is already in place.
