Beleco’s Showroom
on Malmskillnadsgatan
– a playful space for inspiration

At Malmskillnadsgatan 15, right in the heart of Stockholm, Beleco once had its showroom and office in a 122 sqm space. With large street-facing windows and ceilings three meters high, the location offered fantastic opportunities to create something both inspiring and welcoming.

The large windows opened the showroom to the street and invited people inside.
As the leading subscription platform for office design furniture, we wanted to create a space that reflected our brand and showed the range of our collection. Design classics from Fogia, Bolon, and Swedese were mixed with pieces from young designers – such as Gustav Winsth– to highlight the dynamic spirit of Beleco. Our goal was to bring in a playful and energetic feeling, while making sure each area worked well for meetings, work, and inspiration.

A lounge designed for talks, creativity, and relaxed moments.
The idea was to create a space that felt young, playful, and inspiring – just like we want our customers to experience Beleco. The showroom was meant to be an extension of our brand: a place that showed our wide range while also giving a real sense of how the furniture works in everyday life. At the same time, functionality was key – the space was used by our team every day and needed to offer both open areas and more private zones.

A workspace for the team, with focus on comfort and calm.
The space was divided into different areas with clear functions. A central meeting area was created to bring together both customers and colleagues, while two lounge areas invited conversation, creativity, and relaxation. Part of the showroom also served as a workspace for our team, with a focus on ergonomics and concentration. To create balance and reduce noise, two phone booths were added for private calls and meetings. The walls were decorated with art by Dive Mad House, adding to the playful atmosphere and giving the showroom a unique identity.

Open spaces made the showroom feel active and full of energy.
Elin, one of Beleco’s interior designers, led the project and describes the work as a balance between creativity and function:

"We wanted to create a space where you can immediately feel Beleco’s spirit – playful, curious, and design-focused – but also a place that truly worked for us in everyday life. The challenge was finding the right balance between open, inspiring areas and more private spaces."

"Designing our own showroom was something special. We didn’t just want to showcase furniture, but to create a place where you can feel what Beleco stands for – inspiration, creativity, and the courage to mix the established with the new."– Elin, Interior Designer at Beleco
