Just over 70 years ago in Stockholm, an idea was ignited. Textile waste became rag rugs and Bolon was born. Bolon's founder Nils-Erik Eklund was in many ways way ahead of his time. And his ability to see opportunities where no one else did inspires to this day.

Annica and Marie are the third generation Eklund who run the company. Since they took over the company from their parents Lars and Monica in 2003, they have had one goal – to make Bolon a design-driven, innovative company and unite the conservative, traditional flooring industry with the boundless creativity of the fashion world. They collaborate with internationally renowned designers and architects worldwide as well as the majority of global brands.
